Laguna’s Lessons

When winter flu season hits everyone, students, teachers, and parents can become frustrated.  With our 55 minute classes, even one missed day can cause you to fall behind.  It can be very difficult to catch up and you often feel lost in class when you return to school.  I know that I get frustrated when I try to help students learn the lessons that they missed.  This week a student helped me learn a lesson.  She didn’t give up on herself when she fell behind and finally was able to complete her missed work!  I was ready to give up but Lauren didn’t give up on herself.  It is no fun to play catch-up in school but your teachers are always ready to help you as long as you don’t give up on yourself!
