Tech Support from Techie Team 8 Blue!

I don’t think I would ever have attempted to use so much technology in my classroom if the kids were not so helpful. Can you imagine if the kids grumbled each time something went wrong in one of the lessons where we used Data Studio, the Airliner Smart Board, or the podcast kit? I would have given up long ago. In the past few days I learned several helpful lessons from my students. First, you can change the font size on the Pearson Algebra I online quizzes so that the whole group of students can see on one computer screen – Thanks, Monica! Brandon found out that we can change the line colors on Data Studio to make our graphs more effective. Keep the tips coming! Your teacher needs all the help she can get!

Mrs. Laguna,
Have you though about offering classes after school for teachers? There are several teachers in the district who have noticed the amazing things you, and your students, are doing in class. Could you share with others? Maybe have some of your students with you for a presentation so that they can share thoughts/ideas from their perspectives as well?
That is a good idea. It might have to wait till the summer since I have some obligations during the week. I also thought of having teachers visit our room as a way of sharing. We love visitors!
Mrs. Laguna We should definitly have teachers come in! That would be so much fun, we could show them all sorts of cool stuff that we do! We (the students) could teach them (the teachers) then our school district would be totally high tech!
Katie,
I feel like it is our responsibility to share, don’t you?
