		<description>Hi Britt,
I think it is a great idea to get the kids talking about solutions. Let&#039;s plan something! Maybe voice thread would be a fun way to go.

		<description>Hi Mrs Laguna,

I am also a middle years maths and science teacher - I think I found you through classroom 2.0 or fireside conversations? I really like the way you are asking your students to think and comment about their work.
I wondered if you might be interested in a maths project with my year 7 students? I am doing an action research project about maths, science and social networking. My students are having real difficulties with fractions, ratio, decimals and percentages (as they usually do at this level). I thought a kids-teaching-kids approach may be helpful.

If I posted the problem with an incorrect answer, would your students be able to explain how they would go about solving it? If you are interested we could use &#039;scbd&#039;, &#039;tokbox&#039;&#039; or maybe &#039;Teachertube&#039; to record and post the responses on a wiki?

Perhaps you may know of other maths teachers who may be interested?

Best regards, Britt Gow
